Promises to USF Students
Many students on the USF St. Petersburg campus struggle to get to the Tampa campus, whether for classes or academic clubs, often relying on Uber or carpooling. Having reliable inter-campus transit will improve access to classes and clubs. As a Senator, I will join the longstanding fight for increased funding toward this project.
USF's A&S budget is facing millions in cuts that threaten the programs students depend on such as The Edge, sports courts, the gym, and more. I will fight to protect every dollar that funds our campus life.
Student government should be free and open to all, especially for people to find information about the events going on. I promise to call on the Senate to be more transparent with its bills and public commenting periods.
We deserve to have a human-readable format of where our tuition fees and A&S fees go toward. I will call on the USF website to display this information for all students to see with no hassle.
